Easter Bank Holiday

Wadhurst Group Surgeries will be closed from Friday 14th April until Tuesday 18th April 2017. Please call 111 for urgent care during this time.

Frant - Patient Notice

Frant Surgery is open Monday morning, Thursday and Friday morning. We are now dispensing prescriptions.

 Please avoid using the NHS111 out of hours service for repeat prescriptions.

Repeat Prescription forms

Please leave completed forms in the black box in the surgery lobby. It will take 48 hours to allow us to process repeat prescriptions.

 

Travel Clinic

Unfortunately we are only able to offer a limited travel vaccine service at the surgery. This is only for those vaccines available through the NHS.

There are local travel clinics available who will be able to advise and help you with all your requirements for your travel abroad.


 

Wadhurst Medical Group

The Group Practice covers the parishes of Wadhurst, Ticehurst, Frant and surrounding areas. Our main surgery is in Wadhurst where most of the healthcare is provided. The five partners, practice nurses and most of the administrative staff are based here.

The doctors and nurses take pride in offering the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.  We run many clinics for chronic disease care and offer a wide variety of other medical services such as antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side. Please have a look around and do send us some feedback if you like.

DISABLED ACCESS

Disabled access is easiest at our Wadhurst and Ticehurst surgeries.

COMMUNICATION WITH OUR PATIENTS

 We want to get better at communicating with our patients.

 Please let us know if you:

  • need information in a large print, easy read format or in braille.
  • need a British Sign Language/Sign Language or Foreign Language interpreter or Advocate during your appointments.
  • Please let us know if we can support you to lip-read or use a hearing aid or communication tool.

Please tell the receptionist if you need  information in a different format or communication support.

SMS TEXT MESSAGING SERVICE

We have the facility to send you a SMS text message to your mobile phone to confirm your pre-booked appointments at the surgery. You will also receive a reminder message 2 days before your appointment.

If you provide us with your mobile number we will assume ‘implied’ consent to send you information about your appointments. If you would prefer us not to send you a SMS text message, please inform the receptionist.
