Patient group

We have an active patient participation group at our practice.

As part of the NHS reforms which came into force in April 2014, each GP Practice is required to establish a Patient participation Group (PPG) to represent patients’ views on how well their Practice is performing in meeting the needs of their community.

Wadhurst Medical Group has had a PPG running since 2014. The PPG consists of a committee of volunteers, representing a cross section of patients who meet on a regular basis. The PPG’s main purpose is to ensure that the services provided by the group are responsive to patients’ needs and that where necessary improve over time.

The PPG is an active and supportive part of the surgery, and they always welcome new members.

Current projects

Our PPG is currently working on compiling a list of all local and relevant social prescribing services available to our patients.

If you know of a service that would benefit our patients – please email our PPG Chair on wmgppg@hotmail.com

Join our PPG

We welcome enquiries from patients who would like to join our patient group.
