Friends & Family Test (FFT) Feedback

As a team we’ve been working hard over the past 12-18 months to improve our patients experience of the surgery. We know there’s still more to do and and we’re working closely with our Patient Participation Group to address those issues that concern our patients the most, including GP recruitment. It’s heartening to see therefore that the improvements we’re making are having a positive impact on our Friends & Family Test (FFT) feedback.

The NHS FFT was created to help service providers understand whether patients are happy with the service they receive and to identify where improvements are needed. Every patient is able to complete an FFT form after their appointment, either electronically via our website or by filling in one of the FFT forms available in reception.

In October 2023, 62.39% of FFT respondents rated their overall experience of our service as ‘Very Good’ or ‘Good’ and we’re delighted to share that in June 2024, this percentage had increased to 90.75%. Some of the comments we were particularly proud of included: “Real effort to get me seen despite massive demand exceeding supply”; “A kind, efficient reception team and professional medical staff you can trust”; “Always Excellent”; “Overall quick and good experience. Very accommodating and understanding”; “Have always received excellent and informative service”.

Thank you to all those patients who have taken the time to leave both positive and constructive feedback. We promise to continue working hard to become a surgery you can be proud of.
