To make it easier for patients to order their repeat prescriptions, we now have a dedicated email address that is monitored every working day by our amazing Pharmacy team.
Please send your repeat requests to sxicb-esx.belmontprescriptions@nhs.net and allow three working days for your request to be processed.
Your prescription will be sent electronically to the NHS Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) or The Spine as it is also called. This is a secure service that stores your electronic prescription and from which your prescription can be downloaded by any pharmacy in England.
If you have a nominated pharmacy, they will automatically download your prescription to their own computer system. However, if they do not have your medication, as long as they have not dispensed anything else from your prescription, you can ask them to send it back to The Spine, enabling you to go to a different pharmacy to collect it.
