Ticehurst Surgery is currently based in Newington Court, which is due to be redeveloped by Southern Housing, the landlord of the site.
Southern Housing had initially indicated that the redevelopment of the site would be delayed until the expiry of our lease in 2027. Unfortunately, this position has since changed, and we have been informed that the site is due to be demolished in November 2025. As a result, we have been informed that the practice will need to vacate by end of October 2025.
We are working at pace, in collaboration with NHS Sussex, to identify a suitable interim location for the GP practice within Ticehurst village.
Patient care remains our priority and along with identifying a suitable interim location, we are continuing to explore options for a longer-term, permanent solution for the surgery in Ticehurst.
